Zilpah Hartley

Property journalist and presenter

A travel and property journalist, Zilpah Hartley is best known for fronting Channel 4's highly successful, long running day time series A Place in The Sun along with the follow up series My Place in The Sun and A Place in The Sun - Celebrity Specials. Zilpah is currently filming House Wrecks to Riches for Discovery.

Before channelling her energy and knowledge into property shows Zilpah worked for The Times Higher Education Supplement, The Times and The Sunday Times and after a stint with the BBC on their Rough Guide to the world programme was bitten by the travelling bug and set off to seek out new horizons. All of which set her in excellent stead once she was given the job of worldwide house-hunting for hundreds of Brits keen to find A Place in the Sun.

As well as filming over a hundred shows for Channel 4, Zilpah writes regularly for Ideal Home and 4homes magazines.

A real all rounder she is an experienced corporate presenter and has many hours of voice  over work under her belt and when she isn't busy with writing or her TV work Zilpah Hartley also runs a small broadcast production company with her husband and a high end clothes shop.
